it's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life.....

and i'm feeling good! well, considering. as some of you may know, i recently went through the unfortunate and depressing process of getting divorced, or as i like to refer to it now "the big D". i'm not going to bore you with the entire story of what happened, but know this....i'm better off. we both are really. there are no hard feelings between us (me and the ex), and i hope he is happy. really, i do.

i don't think anyone dreams about falling in love, getting married, and getting divorced 5 years later. i sure didn't. being 24 and newly single is actually quite scary for me. but, i have an amazing support system, and a pretty good attitude towards it all, so i think i'm going to be a-ok.

i am now living with roommates. in provo. going to a singles ward. going on dates (maybe). and trying to immerse myself in the single life. i'm sure there will be plenty of stories to share, which is why i started this blog. i'm kind of excited to keep a journal and share these experiences with you, my friends. 

so. if you know of any good looking single men, please feel free to send them my way. this is how i would describe myself if someone were to ask: brown hair, blue eyes, average height, average build, above-average personality.
