flippin fantastic friday

it's friday! woohoo. i'm looking forward to the weekend. the weather is supposed to be nice, which means i'll probably be spending as much time as possible out in the sunshine. i think i'm going to the jazz game tomorrow as well, which will be fun! 

i had my very first golf lesson today and it went really well. my teacher is super cool, and very encouraging. he's helping me tweak a few things in my swing that will help me hit the ball straighter (more straight?) i think it's going to be awesome, and i'm looking forward to the rest of my lessons. i love learning new things, and golf is something that i've always enjoyed, i've just never been great at it. now, hopefully i'll be good AND have fun, so that's a definite bonus.

tonight is the first game for the IdaHomers franchise. we're all pretty pumped about it. our shirts came yesterday, and they're fantastic.

the team we're playing tonight is called "jarvis and the rockers". what the heck kind of name is that? i can tell just from their lousy name that we're going to dominate. in the words of miff we're going to skin 'em, slice 'em, and fry 'em like the pile of fries that they are. by the way, "eye of the tiger" is playing on my pandora station right now. i'm going to go ahead and consider that a good omen. after the game we're having a team bonding activity at annie and dain's where we're going to roast wieners and marshmallows. should be good times!
