today is a good day. the sun is out. the air is warm. i'm feeling good. i had a really good weekend. hope you all did as well!
friday: bijou market with dash, marianne and ashlee. we got our hipster on. have you ever been? i thought it was a lot better last year, but that's just my opinion. after bijou we went to sammy's for dinner. we enjoyed coconut cream pie milkshakes and sweet potato fries. it was delish. afterwards i took the gals to see my new place and chat for a bit. good times.

after the gals left i started watching batman begins. then went to bed at like 11:00. cause i'm cool like that.
saturday: woke up bright and early (6:00am thank you very much) to go to the temple with annie. so glad i did. i'm making it a new goal to go every other saturday. it was definitely a good way to start my day. after temple time i drove up to slc for dasha's baby shower. it turned out great! we had a lot of people show up, and she walked away with some sweet gifts. it was fun to catch up with people i haven't seen in a while. somehow we didn't get a picture of dash and me during the event. how does that happen? annoying.

saturday night i watched part of the jazz game at annie and dains, then went home to watch the rest. it was depressing. after the game i finished batman begins and went to bed at 10:30. i just get more and more awesome, don't i?
sunday: church was great. still loving my ward. after our block we had "much and mingle" or, as dain likes to call it "grab a cookie have a lookie" it was fun. my home teachers came over after, and they're pretty rad, so that's good. i spent the afternoon hanging with annie and the fam, and miff. mike is helping me learn this song on the guitar. it's one of my all time favorites. we went for a little drive looking at houses, and spent a good portion of the night chatting. it was good times.

like i said, today is a great day. i'm going to the jazz game tonight...and i'm pretty darn excited about it. tomorrow is tamale tuesday (kate and i like to go to joe banditos on tuesdays).
also, i wore stretchy pants on saturday AND sunday this weekend. in case you were wondering. no shame.

Oh man my pregnancy face is HOT. I am turning into quite the little chubster. I'm so glad we got to hang out so much this weekend- and I'm bummed that we didn't think to take a pic together at the shower. Oh well. Maybe one day when we are wearing the same outfits we can just take a pic and pretend it was at the shower :)
