i don't know if it was the sunshine and 75+ degree weather or what, but this weekend was fantastic! i'm looking forward to the warm spring/summer days ahead. i realized something this weekend. growing up, i always thought i'd move far away from utah/idaho. in fact, i really wanted to move far away. this weekend as i was driving around provo, i realized...i don't really ever want to leave this area. this area, meaning idaho/utah. i could stand to live somewhere else besides provo :) but idaho/utah? beautiful. i mean, if i ever get hitched again and need to move, i totally will...but for now, i'm perfectly content in the idaho/utah bubble. anyway, that's beside the point. let's get down to the nitty gritty. here's what i did this weekend.
friday: first softball game with the idahomers. we won (no surprise there) in extra innings. it was so much fun! i love our team, and we have a lot of fun together. after the game we headed to annie and dain's for a wiener roast. this was my first campfire of the season, so i was in heaven. i love sitting around the fire, being outside, and being with friends and family. such a good night.

saturday: picked molls up from the airport, and spent about 3 hours in annie's backyard basking in the sun. i think we have a problem. seriously, any given weekend day, if the weather is nice, you'll find annie, kate and myself sun bathing. we love the sun. always have. i think i get it from my mom.
| i will never post another swimming suit picture. so enjoy this. |
saturday night i went to the jazz game. me and a friend from work met up with my friend sydney at the game. it was so much fun! we won. in overtime. what's with all the overtime games? i also rode on a motorcycle on the freeway for the first time ever. i was pretty sure it was going to be a miserable experience, but it was actually quite fun.
sunday: attended church. still loving my ward. and spent the afternoon at annie and dain's. we may or may not have sat out in the sun again. i also delighted everyone with my mad homemade pizza making abilities. it was good times.
it's been a pretty decent monday so far. i'm looking forward to a busy week. including: dinner at my aunt and uncle's house tonight, guitar lessons and jazz game tomorrow, softball games wednesday and friday, and a 5k on saturday! hope you guys had a great weekend!
xoxo-meg
